Great rice cooker/warmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is superior and I've always wanted one!! This Umami rice Cooker and warmer is the best to own,because it's versatile. It comes with the cooker, that has an inner cooking pan, detachable and washable inner lid, a steaming basket, a spatula and spatula holder, and a measuring cup. It makes up to 5.5 cups at a time. Easy to read and use LCD control panel with clock and delay timer. A detachable power cord. Instructions manual. Prepares perfectly cooked rice. Menu settings for cooking a variety of rices. I make alot of jasime, brown and long grain rices. It has a warming feature. It has a slow cooker mode. I can steam my veggies too! A total of 13 functions. One helpful tip: soak your rice first,that way it won't scratch the non-stick coating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely in love with my new rice cooker. first of all it might look big on the picture but it is actually of a decent size, small enough to fit in my tight cabinet. It has so many features, love how you can just set up what type of rice you are using and it adds the cooking time for you and the rice comes out perfect. comes with a measuring cup, which you should not loose because it is what you need to measure the water. also comes with a spatula and a spatula holder that you attach to the side of it. it can warm up the rice for you and do other things. I am impressed. Love it. i didnt know it would be this easy to prepare rice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect rice! It's so cute! This was my first electric rice cooker and it was super easy to set up and make rice with this! I loved how easy it was to make rice for my dinner. I rinsed out the rice bowl and washed my rice then, set it on the "white rice" setting. It cooks very simply and efficiently! its true,my rice was slightly sweeter

Umami Micom Rice Cooker Fast & Easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Umami Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer. It is totally new to me and I want to experiment with foods other than rice. By following the directions you can get a wonderful cooked rice very quickly depending on the type of rice you want to cook. I did mine for a serving for two people with my measuring cup that was included and the amount cooked was just right. With the cooking bowl being teflon the clean up is a breeze. I have also started washing my rice since receiving this cooker. I never did that before, but will from now on as specified in the directions. Very pleased with this rice cooker.

Patience for the perfect rice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been making rice for over 40 yrs and this Umami rice Cooker is a first for me. I will never make rice on stove top again, but it takes time and patience to make the perfect rice. AND for the extra time it takes, I have made the softest fluffy white rice ever. Never been a fan of brown rice, but I could start . The pot is easy to get to and clean and the whole unit fits on my countertop without cluttering it up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice cooker made the best rice I have ever had. Its a game changer for me! The rice was fluffy and tasted delicious. It has specific settings for jasmine rice, brown rice, etc. It comes with a steaming basket for veggies, or whatever you would need to steam, such as dumplings. The inner cooking pan is non stick, and super easy to clean. You can also cook soups, stews, etc with the slow cooker function. This rice cooker is so versatile.

Regretfully

I have had this unit for over 18 months. After using this unit for quite some time now, I have regretfully found two issues. First, using the provided cup and correlating lines in our pot for making Jasmine Rice, I have noted that rice comes out mushy. I now stay significantly below line for best results. Second, the non-stick coating on the pot itself is dislodging and showing up as black specks in the rice. This does not seem up to par with a premium brand like Zojirushi.

Great rice cooker but worn down quickly

I bought this in January 2023 and in under a year, the coating of the rice cooker bowl has already chipped off. I have never used anything other than the provided rice scooper on it so I don’t understand how it happened. I’m a little disappointed since I decided to upgrade to this rice cooker with the idea that I’ll use it for a long time but I already need to purchase a replacement bowl.
