Thank Goodness for Greenworks

I bought this mower about a month and a half ago. I have a riding mower that I began to feel was 'overkill' for my lawn. I have several other Greenworks tools so I trusted the brand, etc. I am recuperating from a broken kneecap so the box sat unopened for a bit. My husband used the rider to mow and had a small accident with it-too close to a rock wall! Anyway, it smoked and eventually caught on fire!
This why I say thank goodness for Greenworks as we quickly put the mower's handle on and away he went. I can now even mow w/my knee brace on as the mower is super light and perfect for our situation.

Easy to use!

I chose this mower due to its use of my current 40 volt battery (bought with chainsaw and weed wacker) and its economical cost. It is extremely easy to set up; pressing a button, you can easily change the cutting height. It tackled my not-yet-mowed early June lawn (grass over 10" in spots) with no troubles (other than frequent bag changes). It is a little smaller than my previous battery powered mower, making it even more maneuverable and very light weight. As an older adult I appreciate all these features that make it easy to use and convenient; I have recommended it to my 70+ year old sister.
