Better then the competition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this on a wim when I bought the fire and flavor cookbook. Glad I did. These seem to burn longer and hotter then the competitions, which means I didn't have to reload halfway while grilling. These lasted a long time in my grill and didn't smoke as much as I use to. I'm very happy with this product and will definitely buy again.

Doesn't smell like other charcoals I have used.

Doesn't have a chemical smell when burning and seems to me the coals stay red hot longer also. I haven't gone back to the other brand since. It may be a couple dollars more BUT well worth it.
