Very disappointed ☹

I just bought this sound bar but when I hooked it up to my Sharp TV the optical cable didn't work for my TV and the optical option on remote didn't work . I had to switch it from sound bar and when I did it just kept blinkingwith no sound,power button didn't work on remote, rca stero input didn't work aswell,when I connected them to sound bar didn't get no sound . The only thing that worked was the Aux in and bluetooth. I was disappointed was really looking forward to watch a good movie with your product. Sorry but I'm returning your product and getting my money back . Very very disappointed thumbs down for me sorry ILive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great sound, not so easy to set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to test out the sound bar when it arrived. Set up was a bit difficult as the sound bars blue tooth was not detectable by my tv. However, once we got it set up, it enhanced the tv experience.

Remote is Useless

I just hooked up an iLive 32" sound bar and new Magnavox 32" HDTV for my Mom (Christmas present). The remote for the soundbar changes the TV channels. She has Comcast and the TV and iLive are connected to the cable box. Very frustrating that to raise / lower the sound, turn the power on/off or select sound type (Music / Movie / Dialog) the channel on her TV changes. Sound quality is good but the remote is all but useless. Also, I first tried the Optical connection to the cable box with the supplied cable and got no sound. Had to use the Stereo connections. The sound quality is good for what my Mom wants / needs but very frustrated the remote is useless.

We're sorry for the frustration, unfortunately this is Comcast issue in which there is remote crossover. All we can suggest is turning the sound up using the Comcast remote instead. Let us know if we can assist you further.

Just bought this and could not get it working on my ROKU TV. TV is 2 years old. Got son and daughters boyfriend involved and was told I need the OTHER cable?? Not what was advertised. Advertised as hooking right up for TV, NO BLUETOOTH! Called tech support in INDIA and could not get my problem solved. SORRY. Am on my own now trying to get hooked up so I can hear my TV.

Good Quality Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sound bar produces great quality sound and we love it because it has a Bluetooth connection so we can use it for more than just our TV It did take us a while to get it hooked up and working properly to the TV but other than that it has been working great!
