The bass is not as deep as my old cheaper speakers, and the tweeters do not sound crisp. I do not believe the range gets anywhere near the advertised high end.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Bluetooth speakers are everything I expected except for one thing. I hoped I would be able to adjust the volume of the voice that speaks. The voice is rather loud and can get annoying

Recieved as a gift. It pairs nicely with my iLive turntable I recieved last year. I enjoy both.

Annoying voice can't be turned off

There is a voice that tells one what the system is doing.
I would like to leave it on all the time and just control it with Bluetooth, but the voice woke me up early in the morning to announce that it was (re-)connected to the iPad.
Even if it didn't happen to wake me up, the voice is annoying.
Also, the light (Source Mode Indicator) can't be turned off and it lights up the room when it is dark.
Great sound, easy to set up.

So I connected to my smart tv and live tv is low. Maybe a setting but apps sound amazing. Highly recommend.
