Started off buying reconditioned unit that was not good. Newair stepped up to plate took reconditioned unit back and gave me 20% off for new one.

I live in the PNW, where cool summers are a thing of the past. Without AC, my apartment gets up to 90+ inside! I haven't slept well since May. Until I bought this unit! I keep it in my bedroom, turn it on an hour before bedtime and sleep crisp and cool. It's been a total lifesaver. The only downsides are the stiff exhaust hose (it broke away from the collar immediately) which I have fixed with duct tape, and the limited power. It cools my bedroom well but I wouldn't use it for my whole 450sqft apartment. I knew that going into it and it's still the best unit for the price. Highly recommend and would buy again tomorrow.
I would recommend this to a friend!
