My rating is for my customer service experience! This unit didn't end up working for me and my space, I would say it's great if you're sitting right in front of it but didn't do much to cool down my room. However, the team really was helpful and gracious in getting me sorted out and a return made.

This portable unit has been a life saver! We have an older home with uneven heating and cooling, which means that if it's cool at night in the master bedroom then our toddler is freezing in his room. So naturally we are the ones who've been suffering in a warm bedroom during the hot summer months! This unit, however, was incredibly easy to set up cools the (large) room very quickly. During the day I just roll it into the corner out of sight, and when we're ready for bed it cools quickly. Phew!

I just received this Portable Air Conditioner and I'm so impressed! Within two minutes an entire bedroom feels like it's suddenly Winter time. It's a huge lifesaver with a Southern Summer heat! It comes with a venting kit that it super easy to set up and an easy to follow manual. It even has a remote to control it!

It's kind of aggravating to do a lot of research before purchasing something only to have it not meet your needs. So I hope this might save some folks some grief. First of all, this unit might work well only for window openings that are 26.5 inches or 36.5 to about 50 inches. If you have a 30 inch window opening like I do, you have to jerry rig it to have the window sealing plate stay put (LOTS of duct tape) and block the rest of the window opening. And they say that the window sealing plate is adjustable, but for this model, there is no strong locking mechanism to keep the two pieces connected without sliding around. Second, it is LOUD. The specs say that it should be 55-57 decibels depending if it's on low or high, but there's no way it's less than 75-80 decibels. For reference, 60 decibels is "normal conversation" (i.e., people standing/sitting a meter apart), a typical dishwasher is 75 decibels, and a hairdryer is 80 decibels. With this turned on low, I cannot hear my child calling from their room across the hall with both bedroom doors closed. I saw something saying that if it's super-loud, it's because it's not level. Well, the floors in our old house slant a little, but not THAT much. And there's no built-in leveling in the unit. Finally, we're using this on a floor of our house that doesn't have a bathroom or sink, and it looks like if you want to use it on "dry" mode, you'll need to periodically be draining the water tank, which can only be done by opening a plug at the bottom of the unit. I hope by just running it in A/C cooling mode that we won't have to deal with draining the tank. At almost 50 pounds, I don't want to be lugging this thing up and down the stairs on the regular. The display is always on if the unit is plugged in is pretty bright. And every time you turn it on, off, or change a setting, it makes an electric chime of some sort. Not the best thing if you have light sleepers. The user manual is not super-descriptive. On the positive side, the unit DOES get the room cold. I haven't seen our electric bill since starting to use it to see how much it is costing us to run.

Perfect for our outdoor playhouse!

Hmm needs a lot more information regarding BTU's

I think the 7500 BTU and 4000 BTU DOE is very confusing. My room does not feel as cool as I thought it should. I think the air conditioner is just too small.
