It was working great, but now it turns off in the middle of the night (no I don't have the timer on). It also doesn't keep my small room cool for long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We don't have a Air conditioner here in Arizona. In the summer it can be a real pain. This little beauty was perfect. It actually cools down the whole room we are in to a nice comfortable temp. It has become my sons favorite item in the whole house. It is also very easy to move to another room takes less then 2 minutes to be set up in any room we want it. The set up was very easy my hubby had to make the window part fit but even doing that it took less then 10 minutes to get it ready the first time and learn how to use it. I would def suggest this to all my friends

This AC goes above and beyond!

This is one of the best portable AC units ever! It is supposed to cool up to 200 sq. ft, however paired with our household’s AC, it helps keep an ENTIRE floor cool that happened to be the hottest floor in our home before we received our portable AC unit. It not only serves as an AC, but can also be switched to fan mode and it also dehumidifies while recycling the moisture so you don’t have to empty the unit. The best part is the remote control! It allows us to control to AC from anywhere in the room. This is the first NewAir product we’ve used in our home and most certainly won’t be the last! We love how effective this AC unit is and we highly recommend it.

This AC is so nice. Our apartment doesn't have the best air circulation so our bedrooms are always super warm. This AC made our room much more comfortable and my husband loves sleeping with it right next to him. Definitely a must have for summer and I'd love to get some for our other bedrooms.
