The water level of the rather small tank reduces only very slowly. This is proof of a very slow rate of evaporation, which means very little cooling. And I live in a dry climate.

I gave this to my husband for a Father's Day gift for his man cave and he was super cute excited! The look on his face was priceless after he turned the unit on and began to use all of the awesome features he couldn't stop talking about it. The ice packs to place in the back to make the air even cooler. When the fan oscillates the shutters move up and down and the interior ones move left to right to increase the circulation of the air. It's so quiet and the sleek design is pleasing to the eye and it doesn't take up much space.

Broken right of the box

This item came unusable - we needed it so badly we did not have time to wait for a return to process and wait for a replacement, so had to take it to a repair shop right out of the darn box instead, costing me an additional $65 on top of the product cost here. The product itself works great now, but had a problem with the oscillating pieces - part of the mechanism was completely broken right out of the box.

Surprisingly very quiet and sleek design

I was very surprised at how quiet this unit is I was expecting this would have some background noise, hardly none whatsoever. The design is sleek and the multidirectional fan is a plus. The remote function is an added benefit and the ability to turn off the panel lights on the cooler.
I would recommend this to a friend!
