The drive looks very nice, but it goes to sleep and then it won't spin up - no good for video work. It is now merely a storage for media.

Awful - Do Not Buy!

This hard drive sucks. It failed on me 3 times in a row. Never dropped it or ejected it carelessly. Seriously WD, get it together. This is embarrassing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't waste your money

I bought a 4TB and a 2TB they don't even work Ive had just about a yr but they won't even connect to my MAC GARBAGE!!!!

Asleep at the wheel

The drive goes to sleep so frequently that I cannot use it for my image processing workflows. It doesn't matter what thew rated transfer speed is, if you have to wait for the drive to spin up again.
