I wanted to love this, but…

I love the design of this play set. The tower is the size and height I was looking for for my 8 year old to have room to play on for a few years still and I love the play area underneath too. My boys have played on it every day since it was put up! Unfortunately, after only having it a few weeks the wood started to crack. It appears to be pine that has been treated to look like cedar, and the stain is peeling as well. At this point, no amount of tightening will stop the entire play set from moving when my 70lb son is swinging, and it would take more time to count the number of cracked boards than those that are still intact at this point. We haven’t even had this two months and I’ve already started the return process after not receiving a response from Little Tikes. I am so disappointed. Not only do I have to start the search for a new play set again, I’m out assembly fees. Lesson learned I suppose, stick with the big-name outdoor playset manufacturers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome playground

The thing I love the most is that is cedar and that the wood is very stable. With the app it was very easy to build with the help of 2 people building 1 helping with instruction and organizing the woods in order, we where able to finish in 9 hours. Only 1 small wood came broken but we bought wood glue and let is sit for a few hours until we place it. After 2 days we put sealant to seal the playset for weather changes. We love it and the kids and neighbors also!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this and since the first day our kids play on it every single day! The quality is what anyone would hope for. It's much higher than other playsets we've had in the past. When our kids friends come to visit, they run to the backyard and show off this playground every time! It's a hit!

Directions not bad as long as you pay attention to the small details. Wood quality was good, with no broken pieces. All predrilled pieces fit together perfectly which really surprised me! Now only time will tell how it holds up but I’m not too worried!
