[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been fine so far - I want to see how the smells go and how the UV light continues to work but I’ve been happy in my first week with the product. It’s great knowing you can have clean water whenever you want.

Not only is the self cleaning feature pretty awesome, but the look and feel of the bottle is sold. The texture on the outside and quietness of the top unscrewing are very satisfying

It aint heavy, its my LARQ bottle

i was unprepared for how heavy the 750ml bottle was, does anyone really lug these bottles outdoors?
Otherwise, I do feel the water taste better and sea mint is a pretty colour, so I guess I'm satisfied.

Sleek and sexy

This is one sexy way to deliver water to your mouth. I feel like such a show off!
As for it doing what it’s designed to do.... I mean, I guess it works? Without measuring the microbes in the water, how would I ever know?
I’m only giving it four stars, because it’s a heavy addition to my pack. Even without the lid, it’s crazy heavy. I’d like to see a 1L plastic version, which would be way more useful for its intended purpose (though way less of a vanity piece. Also, adding a 2-4 stage filter (to remove toxins and sediment) would be amazing. A UV light only does part of the job of making water safe, and should really only be a backup to actual filtering. If I were to go hiking (again, too heavy), I’d bring a Sawyer 4-stage filter.

Heavy but water tastes great!

The overall freshness of the water is the first notable difference- I have been happy with that. The bottle I purchased is very heavy however I definitely notice it when it’s in my bag or purse. I’m not sure if I would re-purchase due to the overall price. I suppose it will gain it’s worth over its longevity, which we will just have to wait and see!
