Beautiful, Easy to Use & One Month Charge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took a look at other brands in the same space. What really tipped it for me was the one month charge (most were one week). Ordered the black one and white one for Valentine’s. The bottles are beautiful and easy to handle. Great instructions and it was easy to charge & start using. Will be great for traveling as well. Here’s to hydrating more in 2020.

Great, but expensive.

It was just a little pricey for my liking. I wish it were easier to find more specific information on the types of water it can purify, such as whether or not tap water is okay.

A great bottle with very fixable flaws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own two LARQ bottles that are identical except for the color, and I've been using them for about a month. While in general I am satisfied with my purchase, there is a specific area where this product fails me that virtually any other semi-premium insulated bottle succeeds: durability.
First, the UV sterilization is great. If you follow the instructions (specifically the part that says to give the bottle a shake when sterilizing), it does kill odor-causing bacteria. If you do not shake the bottle periodically during cleaning, bacteria will still accumulate around the inner-neck area during normal use. At first I thought this was a product defect, but then I read the instructions. Since then, I have taken a smelly bottle and shaken it while cleaning multiple times and verified that the smell was completely gone afterward.
So, while this bottle does "self-sterilize," it doesn't do a thorough job without help. I can't imagine a bottle that would not have this problem, so it wasn't a dealbreaker.
What might be a dealbreaker for some, though, and the reason for my 3-star review is that the bottle is not durable at all. I have hardwood floors, and after the bottle rolled off my bed once onto the floor, both the cap and the base of the bottle were visibly impacted. The dent at the bottom of the bottle was bad enough to add a Sugru to the bottom to stabilize it; it literally wobbles without it. This was after two weeks of use, mind you.
Given the premium price of this item, there is no excuse for not reinforcing both the cap and the base with a material that is fall-proof. As such, it's hard for me to recommend this to anyone who is clumsy (and I'm not!) over a S'well bottle and a cheaper UV cap. But if you like a nice looking bottle and you are careful, you'll probably be pretty happy with this.

I never want to own another drink bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything works as advertised. I’ve noticed a slight odor after the UV cycle ends. Ive cubes don’t stay frozen for very long. It’s too late to return this bottle but overall it’s not worth the price.
