Not quite what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not good. The bottle has a metallic smell and taste to it that wont go away,even after I wash it. I washed with mild soap and water, tried baking soda ,no success. I've only had it about a month and have washed it at least 9x hoping to get rid of smell and taste. I've also tried different water sources , bottle, tap, fountain. Makes me paranoid that metal is leaching into water somehow. Very nice looking bottle whoever can't get past previously mentioned.

Best water bottle for anywhere!

Love this water bottle so much that I use it as my only water bottle at the dinner table, working out, and even traveling. Self cleaning, beautifully designed (get compliments!), and easy to use. All worth it! I've bought 3 of these and now onto family and friends gifts. Ordering 4th today!

I'm going on faith that the Uv does what it claims. Water tastes fine. Design is beautiful. The battery seems to last a long time; I haven't had to charge it yet in over a week. I did buy the extra sleeve for protection. Would be great if they made one made of silicone. I do wonder if I should have gone for the larger size but I do like the portability of the 17oz.

Its a great nice looking water bottle. Next time I'd opt for the larger version. Had some defects with the orange light so giving it 4 stars (doesnt clean if its warm out)
