High quality and works as described

The first thing you notice is that this is a really high quality built bottle. After first week of use I noticed I was drinking more water and the bottle also stinked less (although not completely eliminated). It just gives me the confidence that the water left at the office or in the car will be safe and fresh over the weekend. Awesome product. Keep it coming.

Works, but you still need to clean the mouth and cap

The bottle itself is very-high quality, with a premium, easy-grip, no slide coat. The cap unscrews more quietly than any other stainless steel water bottle I own. The insulation is good and water stays cold. The color coating is attractive and looks very nice.
After using the bottle for several weeks, I can say that it has remained odor-free, and the water has been clean-tasting.
However, after waiting a year to get my Kickstarter order, I have to say that I was disappointed that you still need to clean the mouth and cap. The pictures of people sticking the bottle in streams or other questionable water sources on-the-go are misleading. The disclaimers say that the UV light does not reach the lip and cap. If you dunk the bottle in a questionable water source, you will contaminate the lip and cap and need to wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe. Or else, use a funnel very carefully.

Just What the Immune-suppressed Community Needed!

I am the blessed recipient of a kidney and liver nearly a year ago and have been living the reality of having to be hyper-conscious of where my water comes from - knowing if it is safe to drink, and is truly clean. With LARQ, this huge concern is something of the past! I no longer have to buy packs and packs of plastic water bottles to go through my day (I'm required to drink at least 3.5 liters of water/day). I don't have to worry when I visit family or friends if they have well water, and if I have enough bottled or canned water with me. This is a game changer, and I know that it can be a resource for many others in similar situations!

First run of LARQ is great

I love the bottle. I just wish it were a bit larger for two reasons. 1. The obvious, it would hold more water and 2. it would fit much better in car cup holders without tipping over and out of them. Maybe in the future just offer a larger size as well as the classic original...not too much larger just enough to fit in a cup holder of a car. :-)

Revolutionary Product

My husband signed us up a few months ago to be among the first people to purchase this revolutionary product. We finally received our LARQ bottles a week ago. They came professionally boxed and the bottles themselves are of high quality. His is Obsidian Black and I got the Seaside Mint; they are both very nice to look at.
We immediately charged up the caps to the water bottles and I was impressed at quickly they charged. The bottle keeps my water cold, even with ice in it and the huge bonus of these water bottles is that they purify the water you drink, and they purify the water bottle at the same time. How cool is that!? Face it, anything we drink is going to contain some of our saliva (I know--TMI) but it's nice to know that the LARQ purifies that as well, even if the water sits for hours on end.
Just knowing that the LARQ water bottle automatically purifies the water on its own every two hours is comforting, especially if you have a cold or the flu. We all know how important it is to stay hydrated when you’re sick, and with the water purifying qualities of the bottle, just think of the germs that are being zapped away. It's a win-win, anyway you look at it. I am very excited to have this product and it's also comforting to know that IF we ever have a Zombie apocalypse, at least we will have pure water to drink anywhere we go by using the Adventure Mode setting.
