Mixed Feelings

I feel a little misled. My LARQ water bottle was advertised to keep liquids cold or hot for 24 hours. This has NOT been the case at all. Perhaps it is the summer heat in some cases, but even indoors I've had to put ice into the bottle to get the water cold after just an hour or two. This is not what I was expecting after reading these other reviews. Is mine defective? I'm not sure. And it also leads me to question if the water truly is purified every time I hit the button on top. If you're reading this, LARQ, let me know if my experience is not typical. I'd love to opportunity to correct this review!

It feels great in hand. Nice weight, solid. There is a satisfying squeak when you screw the lid back on - it's ben very well engineered.

It has an elegant design that makes you want to drink more water and assures you that it will be clean water. Glad I don’t have to use older bottles that begin to smell over time. Best investment!

Good so far. No smells just yet but it seems there may be room for mold to grow in the part of the bottle you drink from and put your mouth too. I know my gf wants a straw lid somehow just an idea
