Nice looking item. I put pool water and used "Adventure " mode(twice) and did a side-by-side "sniff" test with tap water. Both judges picked the pool water! Now how do I get a scientific test of this?

Pros: I like the size, concept, and color scheme.
Cons: There's no way for me to be sure this is working. The light portion of the cap goes into the bottle well below the opening. The opening of the bottle is rounded back but not sealed so there is an open space for water to get into below the sterilizing light. You're supposed to shake the bottle when it's on to reach those areas but after a month of use I have noticed a mildew smell when I don't wash it with soap and water for a week. The colorful sleeve also doesn't fit super tightly so it turns and slips outside of the groove it's supposed to rest in which is just annoying.

Besides providing a dependable way to assure a sanitized drink, the Larq maintains beverages hot or cold longer than any other product I’ve used. I’ve had ice remain frozen in my Larq for longer than 24 hours even on very warm days.

Light and pretty

I bought my first larq bottle before this came out I lived the design but had to buy a sleeve to prevent it from damaging and scratching and it was always heavy. This is half of the weigh (assumption by me) and can take in 24 oz instead of 16 at almost the same size. Doesnt keep liquids cool as long but it is a great active bottle to drag arround and refill often!

Great function; top-heavy?

I feel it is a bit top-heavy- I knocked it over more than once while trying to grab it the very first day I had it and was left with a lovely dent in the top half.. Others, it works great!
