If your laptop takes power delivery via USB C and Alt-Mode Dispaly port. This is for you. It is a monitor with USB-C docking station built into one. The really clears up the desk. All you USB accessories can plug into the monitor including LAN if you use wired networking. You just have to plug your computer in (no power needed) to UBS-C port (and the package comes with the cable. Personally, I have a dumber older version of of the this product also and I daisy chained via the Display Port out to my second monitor and add also chained the USB-A to the this monitor and both screen works with minimal cabling. I purchased a third part Y- split power cable so I can reduce the need to one socket.
It is excellent value too because otherwise you have to buy a monitor and a docking station.
