Broke within 9 months of gentle use

Purchased monitor 9 months ago and suddenly left 1/5 of the monitor goes dim. Turn monitor off and then on, monitor functions fine and then within a few minutes monitor goes dim on left side again.

The color displayed is great, 2k monitor with HR10 is awesome.
