Great carry on! Incredibly light weight and high quality. Everything from the zippers, locks, handles, wheels… you get what you pay for. I am glad I choose this over Rimowa.

The perfect carry on

We use two of these bags for international carry on and check a single large bag - these weigh almost nothing and while I recognize that they might be subject to damage if checked, not sure what would not be.
We find the bags light, they roll well and hold all of your toiletries and two days worth of clothes so if the big bag (we call it "the casket") doesn't make it we aren't inconvenienced

Love the luggage, some wobbly play in telescope handles

I recently went on a 12 day multiple plane/airport and hotels as well as the 7 day cruise. I purchased the Biaggi bags thinking they were so light weight it would give me an advantage in packing more and still handling the bags. WRONG! I ended up after the cruise buying two Lilac Tumi's at the San Juan Puerto Rico mall which a gulped at the price but LOVE THESE! I think I had a stupid grin plastered on my face when I had to go home via 4 airports/flights. My only reservation is in the longevity. The telescoping handles have some excess play between the rod and the suitcase making them feel less sturdy. But I am still in love with these and smile when I think about them.

Lacks the bottom panel for lifting.

Tumi used to be well built with quality fabrics, sturdy zippers and ergonomic features. The biggest downside to this new luggage, is the lack of a panel at the bottom of the luggage so that I could grasp both sides when I am lifting the suitcase into cars or overhead storage. In my opinion, this is a key feature and I notice it every time I travel, which is at least once a week. Additionally, the zipper on this last Tumi gets stuck and is not as good as the last Tumi I had, which lasted me over ten-years. Given the competition from brands like Rimawa, Tumi needs to really keep its quality high. Please bring back the bottom lifting panel!

I absolutely adore the entire TUMI collection. Not only are they gorgeous but they are super practical! The quality is impeccable! The luggage glides through the airport like it’s floating on cloud!
