Definitely no for a re-purchase. I bought two of these for two recent trips this summer and they really did not hold up well after TSA. While I understand scuffs and scrapes are sort of the expectation through TSA, I almost feel this luggage is more prone to this type of damage due to its many edges (swirl pattern). I think this luggage is too expensive to justify a re-purchase; the value really isn't there. I really am kicking myself for not getting the aluminum versions, which seem way more durable and would last me longer. Giving this a 3-star for the fact that the luggage was extremely light --- that did help me pack a lot more than I expected without having an overweight bag.

I own other TUMI products, so making the decision to purchase this set did not disappoint. I recently took it on a trip to Europe, the luggage was durable and spacious, which gave me just enough space to bring home gifts and souvenirs.

Should not look beat up after 2 trips, but it does. Way too expensive. Not up to Tumi reputation

This was a beautiful suitcase out of the box. 2 trips later, the corners are beat to crap, the shiny surfaces are scuffed and scratched, the TSA lock fell off, and I had to tape shut the buckle of the leather luggage tag as it never would have made it through the baggage claim still attached. The suitcase is light and easy to pack, but I’m very disappointed with the cheap, chintzy exterior and not at all durable details at this price point.
