Good laptop, could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good thin & light laptop with a spectacular 2K display. I don’t know if mine was a dud or it is normal but trackpad was really bad, it also had some power issues where the display turned off at any given time.

Surprising value and weight.

Ordering online was so quick and easy. I received the computer which I was beginning to like. Then quickly found out the speakers were not working properly. Then while using the machine the screen started glitching. Brand new, should not be having ANY problems. It was so time consuming to get to customer service to file for a work order. When I finally got the correct department, I decided it was better to get a refund and go LOCAL.

Good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mouse is already malfunctioning, and the cover already has scratches after a couple of weeks (and it is supposed to be titanium...). Performance is fine, I regret that there is not a USB A port (various equivalent products have one). There could be a real older for the pen.

Less than pleased

Good product overall. However, within 3 days of having owned it, I got a pop-up telling me to restart in order to install microphone and camera updates. Once I did that, the speakers no longer worked. I had to pay money for software support to troubleshoot and update speaker drivers. I had just bought this laptop and already I was shelling out money for support! Once the speakers were fixed, the audio port no longer worked with my IPhone earbuds. The tech said I would need to test it with something else, like external speakers, to determine if the laptop has a hardware issue. I haven’t done that yet.
Also, I went to register the laptop online with Lenovo and their system said my serial number was invalid. After a lengthy hold waiting to speak with someone, i was told to send an email to the company, along with scanned copies of my receipt and the tag on my laptop that showed the serial number. That worked, but, again, Lenovo sells me a laptop with a serial number they don’t even have in their system?! And then makes me do a bunch of extra work to prove I bought it?!
One last beef. The fingerprint Touch ID pad is almost useless. It reads my thumbprint maybe one time in 5. They have a lot they could learn from Apple, which gets it every time.
Other than that, I love the light weight and it’s working just fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great 2 in 1 but with a few issues. I'd live to see a garage for the stylus instead of magnetic attachment. The speakers really are quite bad. The battery life could be better. All in all, these misgivings are only due to keeping the machine thin and light, so I suppose I'll live with it.
