[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great design but it has a few quirks I do not like. The fan is always on...drives me nuts, the new proximity detector is spooky, the computer wakes if I walk by...I finally had to cover the sensors (three additional that do not have a privacy shutter), and the two thunderbolts are inconvenient, so I had to buy a Dell dock since but would have preferred a ThinkPad dock but nothing is ever in stock.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the overall package in terms of the weight, portability, display and build. Very sleek and comfortable and love every aspect of it so far. The battery could have been better but at the end of the day, it is tradeoff between all the factors and I wanted something that was lighter. This replaced my Thinkpad T450 and the only thing that I like more on the T450 is the keyboard. This does not have the same tactile feel of the keys. It obviously has to do with the ultra thin profile. Overall, a very capable and high quality build laptop. Hope to enjoy it for at least 4 ~ 5 years.
