Fantastic Value!

We want something that will not be obsolete or break down during his undergraduate years, and still be powerful enough for graduate school. Family members in IT recommended Lenovo so we've been keeping an eye out for a "deal" and this came up as too good to resist. We saved over 60%. But more importantly, it's going to meet our son's needs. The laptop is super light, probably because of the smaller screen and lack of the number pad. But that's ok because he's not studying finance or accounting and he can connect it to a larger monitor in his room. It has a stylus and he's already used it when he worked on his calculus problems. The color and sharpness are unbelievable. We got him a case and a USB hub since there are only 2 ports. We hope there'll be a similarly good value/deal in three years when our younger son enters college.

What computer?

I was so excited to get my ThinkPad Titanium. But then the display screen wouldn't function. I spoke to Premium service who identified a hardware program and sent me to the replacement desk to set up delivery of another Titanium. They assured me it would be sent right away. Your tracking has it sitting in a warehouse in Louisville for over a week. I know this because it is scanned daily. But why is it being held? I am an extremely frustrated and increasingly unhappy customer, soon to be an ex-customer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good concept. Disappointing build quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a lot to like about this laptop and I’m hoping the replacement resolves the two quality issues of the first unit. First the top edge of the cover was not evenly attached to the screen leaving an exposed edge that could snag. But worse was the fit of the USB-C connector on the power supply. It flexes up and down by the height of the connector, leading me to think it would fail quickly. The connection on my T490 is solid by comparison.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great laptop with a few flaws.

cons: keyboard travel is too shallow; pen does not attached to the laptop whatsoever. uses a slow and uncommon SSD.
Hopefully gen 2 will address these issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a hardcore Thinkpad fan and this is my 4th one but I returned it two hours after the delivery because of a broken key, meanwhile it is lacking ports. I ended up buying T14 and I am really happy with it now.
