Good laptop if you don't travel much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this laptop almost 3 weeks ago. It's okay. I really liked my last laptop, which I kept for 9 years (replaced battery, keyboard and upgraded SSD and RAM during that time). But it was finally time to say goodbye and hello to a new laptop.
1) I wouldn't call this laptop light. It's not heavy, but it's a bit heavier than my old laptop (an ultrabook). That being said, if you don’t take your laptop all over, every day, then it should be light enough to travel with on the occasional occurrence that I need to.
2) The fingerprint reader is useless. It recognizes my finger maybe 1/10 times. I usually have to input my PIN. I have retaught my fingerprints several time but it just doesn't work. I have no problem with my iPhone 6s
3) The black case seems to show grease marks from my fingers easily, and I don't have greasy fingers
4) The laptop keyboard is slightly smaller than my old 13" Ultrabook. There is no row of special keys to the right of the enter button. I used SharpKeys to switch the location of Home/End and PgUp/PgDn and put little stickers on the keys. There is quite a bit of room around the outside of the keyboard. I'm not sure why they thought there wasn't enough room to put a row of small keys. That being said, the keyboard is very nice to type on. The keys have good feedback and good travel.
5) The charger, USB-C, plugs into the left side of the computer. I would have preferred the back of the computer with a right angle plug. My old laptop had this and it was much easer to keep from putting pressure on the input.
6) The max I could upgrade the RAM to when I purchased was 16GB. I wanted 32GB but I couldn’t get that on a 13” laptop and it would have been double the price. Unfortunately it is soldered so I won’t be able to upgrade it
7) The touchpad is very sensitive. Even after adjusting all the settings, I still accidentally select when trying to move the mouse. I find it somewhat hard to know when I am actually touching the buttons as it is not a separate button but integrated right into the whole trackpad.
8) The lid is solid and seems like it will protect the screen well. It is a little stiff to open, but I’m hoping this will improve over time.
9) With my specs, the laptop is quick to wake. It would be nice if the fingerprint reader actually worked because then it would be even quicker. See my point 2 above.
10) I thought I had read on the website that the ThinkPad series laptops have a little cover that can go over the camera. This model doesn’t seem to have that, so it’s back to the post-it note.
11) Overall the battery life is disappointing. I get a couple of hours, but my 9 year old 13” Ultrabook with a 6 year old battery actually had a longer battery life than this one. I’d say it gets about 4 hours, depending on what you are doing.
12) The screen is odd. I upgraded to the touchscreen FHD because I wanted the higher brightness for working outside. I’m not quite sure what it is about it, but my previous laptop just looked better (it was lower resolution). I have tried adjusting the color balance and everything, but I can’t get it to look like my old, also matte, display. I also have a virtual workspace and by default it is set to a lower resolution than this display, so my virtual desktop actually has a very slight fuzziness to it. IT at work says they cannot change the resolution on my virtual desktop. I mostly use my computer for work and a bit of web surfing. So it doesn’t bother me. But if you game, or plan to watch a lot of movies, you might be disappointed with the display.
I know overall my review sounds negative, but that’s not the case. I really do like this laptop and I will keep it, but I wish it had these differences. However, I’m very very picky about my laptops so others may not think these issues are a big deal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pretty happy with this laptop. It's very light and very fast. Boots up and logged in within under a minute. I typically prefer a much larger screen, however I have no issues with this smaller one, it's easy to see and use.
No optical drive, but an external one can be easily purchased.
It advertised 4 usb ports, 2 usb-c and 2 usb-a. However it only has 1 usb-c and 2 usb-a ports. The other port is some sort of ethernet adapter port.
Over, very please with this laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blown away by the build Quality; and excellent the materials and construction feel. Also surprised at how little bloatware came with it. At the right price, this machine is worth every penny and than some.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful, fast, and everything I needed. A couple of really great features such as the webcam cover and fingerprint reader that I'm now in love with. I'm a fan on Lenovo products since my last two Lenovo laptops have served me well. Overall very happy!
