No PC only application is a big downside!

I am still on trial mode and the fact it holds my cellphone hostage is a big downside. Also distances seem over exaggerated even after calibrating. On the good side, I like the other stats like spin, club path, etc. For the price it does OK.

Thank you for your review and experience with the Approach R10. We would like to discuss this further over email. If you would please email us at product.support@garmin.com. Thanks Jenny
I haven't had any issues with getting the monitor set up and aligned with the targets. I've compared it with other monitors at the same time for club speed and distance and have come very close to the estimated/measured indexes. I am looking forward to trying it out this winter in my makeshift garage set up to keep my swings looking good before next season.
This is so informative, I spend every free moment using it. Have had my R10 launch monitor for almost a month. Paired with my Garmin watch it is invaluable! Love It!
Compact, easy setup, quality and value. After analyzing multiple alternatives this was the clear choice. Once familiar with the underlying data, the device will assist in training / making improvements in swing dynamics. (One minor suggestion for improvement ... redesign storage container to allow for easier storage.)
I had to get one after my brother had it. Overall, it was fun to see how I would do on courses I've never played on. The distance of my shots might be a little off, but it ended up making me work on my chip on shots. The only downside is that if this used at a range, it might pick up someone else's shot and send you somewhere else on the virtual golf. Had a lot of potential pars that became +5.
