Pretty good but has problems

I use it with an indoor simulator and it works well for driver to pitching wedge. If I hit my driver so the ball skims the ground it will only register like 20 yards or so. I know from the hit that the ball would have gone 60-80 yards, so it’s off there. But the really frustrating thing is, around the greens it doesn’t see my gap wedge and up. So I have to use my pitching wedge only.

Helped Range my Bag
on May 18, 2025

I take this to the range almost every time. It has definitely helped me range my bag. Good Product that is easy to set up. The app is very easy to interface with at the range. It is a little wonky to review data, but does the job. I have not paid for any of the subscriptions or courses, but I imagine it would be great for a sim. I only use it at the range.

Good Value - good performance

I had another monitor which did not give me path and face angle data. I've used this for several weeks and watched a number of youtube video's on optimizing it's performance. I use rct balls and found the ball must be teed exactly on line at the recommended distance to get decent results. The garmin software app is OK but one of the videos I watched recommended another app to connect it to that shows all the results on one screen in large enough font to read from 6-8 feet away, along with video of the projected flight of the ball.

great practice tool

I got this launch monitor for my outdoor<backyard> driving range...and it was out of the box and ready to go in less than 10 min. It works as advertised and has lots of measurements handy to the avg. golfer. If you need more practice but just have a hard time going to course, this monitor gives you everything you need to "see" how you hit the ball...swing speed, ball flight and club head deviations/angle of attack. Great value for the price...I would recommend.

Great Entry Level Launcher!!

Fantastic Entry Level Ball Launcher for anyone interested in getting into the Golf Simulator world. Tons of information given by every app paired with it and even more accurate when paired with RCT balls (but not required). Highly recommended!!

Has been great so far. I use it in the winters to keep my game steady in the off season. Read pretty accurately most of the time.

Great Launch Monitor

This unit is well worth the money..ez setup and very accurate..I would like to see an option for using Scicore or Almost golf "foam" balls. Maybe an update on the software and that is the only reason I did not give it a 5 .

Good not great

I've had this and the mlm2pro. I find the mlm2pro to be more accurate, particularly with shot shaping, but the overall experience on this unit is much better and is overall quite a bit cheaper. Because of those two things im keeping this one. Its super easy to connect and get started and play. Thats a HUGE plus. Haven't tried RCT balls yet, might try those later. I use it mainly for a garage simulator, but have also taken it on the range to check how the simulator compares. Its definitely more accurate on the range. Overall the user experience is good even if accuracy could be a little better. For the price, not bad.
