Accurate and Reliable

I've owned three launch monitors to date, and the Garmin R10 provides the most parameters for the money. It's reliable and easy to use and worth every penny. Battery life is long enough for three sessions at the range, and the device provides useful and accurate data. A+ rating.

Exactly what I was looking for

I bought it about a month ago and it was exactly what I hoped that it would be. Plug and play with the right amount of game improving software and fun games.

Nice concept but somewhat inconsistent

Bought this for my son to use and it seems to be very inconsistent when it comes to the accuracy of the yardage being recorded. Using it on measured Driving range it can be off as much as 20 yards or more. Have done all the tricks, re-calibrated, ensured distance from device to teeoff spot is accurate, checked for software/firmware updates etc. Just doesn't seem to be all that accurate.

Fun for winter time a little let down on accuracy

I love having the ability to play virtual in the winter time that is a huge plus. My unit seems to miss pretty often below 60 yards or so as well as when driving. Overall I’m happy with the purchase but the missing of shots (not just accuracy but not reading at all) leaves more to be desired. Great value

Cool piece of tech, but Garmin app is inaccurate

I bought this a month ago and have mixed reviews. The garmin app it comes with does not give accurate readings. I would flush a 6 iron and it would say it went as far as my 8 iron, sometimes shorter. There are other apps with simulator software like awesome golf that work very well, but require an expensive subscription. Doesn’t make sense why the garmin app can’t be as accurate as the other ones.

Great Golf Investment!

I have now had three range sessions with my R10 Approach. It has been a great addition to my bag! It is so helpful to hit a shot and get instantaneous feedback on how you are putting the club on the ball! I am already hitting my irons more flush and look forward to seeing how the range sessions translate to my play on the course.
Can you spend more for a piece of equipment that might be marginally more accurate? Yes - but why? The amount of data generated by the R10 is remarkable and when it does miss a shot (very infrequent for me), I just tee up another ball.
I wish I had bought this sooner!
