Great for Overall Use and Beginners

I had to get one after my brother had it. Overall, it was fun to see how I would do on courses I've never played on. The distance of my shots might be a little off, but it ended up making me work on my chip on shots. The only downside is that if this used at a range, it might pick up someone else's shot and send you somewhere else on the virtual golf. Had a lot of potential pars that became +5.

Very affordable training aid

This is a very affordable training aid that offers a simulator setup. Very accurate yardages and fun play options on garmin app.
Once in a blue moon the device will miss a shot but that is the only downside.

My range you hit into water with very minimal markers for distance. Simple setup and very easy to use.

Great Tech at a Reasonable Price

The Garmin R10 is a great piece of tech. Reads the ball well and holds a great charge. Things that keep it from 5 stars is: the mount would be better if it snapped in rather than attach by magnet. Second the single button for power, paring and wake up. I'd prefer a power switch or a separate button. It takes getting used to to power on and off.

I purchased the Garmin R10 three weeks ago, and I am very pleased with it ! I added the GSpro software, and the numbers appear to be very accurate, to my on course numbers. This unit is a nice little unit for the money. Thanks Garmin !

When it comes to affordable golf simulators this is as good as it gets. I love being able to take it to the range and get real time feedback right away. The data is all extremely accurate and I’m able to make adjustments right away.

Helpful feedback hitting into indoor net.

I have had an indoor net for several years. Practice sessions with it only helped in knowing if I had made solid contacts with the ball. No idea how good the flight was or where the ball would end up. The R10 seemed to be a reasonably priced tool to help close this information gap and for the most part does that. I don't know how accurate the data is but it's probably good enough to give my practice sessions some value and guide my swing adjustments. I found "Awesome Golf Simulator" app to be better than the Garmin app for data accuracy.
