For the price it is awesome. I mostly just use it in my backyard to record drives into a net. I like being able to record video of the swing and see the analytics of the swing and save the video.Obviously wont be as accurate as an expensive simulator. I'll take to the range sometimes too. I've only played a few of the golf app courses but seems fun.

Just what I wanted

After my R10 arrived I followed the recommended way to set it up and started hitting in to my net. I love that it gives the same results as the Golf Galaxy equipment where I started taking lessons.
I just took up golf again after my retirement and I can listen to the recommendations my instructor gave me after a lesson and can quickly see if my club path and attack angle are where they should be. I haven’t had it to the range yet, only into my net. I really like.

Very good launch monitor with mostly accurate data

Very good launch monitor for the price. It does have some issues with spin, particularly spin axis The spin axis issue is most noticed in playing courses where you hit on the toe or heal of the driver and R10 does not handle the gear effect.

Not yet attuned to getting the results interpreted and what the various codes mean . 2L, 0L etc. Where is that information explained?

Good features but lacking in one area

The unit works well. The wealth of information is impressive. Now, if I can put it all together that will help me with my swing mechanics. Two things need improvement. First, the instruction manual is grossly inadequate. I went online and got the "more" detailed manual but it still leaves a lot to be desired. This is a complex device, it needs better documentation. Secondly, alignment of the R10 is somewhat problematic. I try and follow the directions but even then it is not clear to me whether the data I am seeing is correct or if their is an alignment issue. It would be nice to have a laser pointer type light coming out of the front of the device which would be pointed at the ball so you knew when the Rq0 was correctly aligned.

20-30 yards short

Connection is great, setup is easy, seems to track ball well. But All of my clubs are very short. Hoping an update will help. There is no way to update manually, it does it in the background.

Doesn’t do well with short irons, maybe 1 out of 3 shots gives feedback. Inside vs outside, doesn’t matter. Bought the 12 month golf package but have tried to use other compatibility apps. Same thing. I’ve calibrated and tried different “tricks”, nothing has helped. If I had to do it over again I would save the money and buy the Bushnell. It’s a shame too because I felt like my next purchase would be a fenix.
