Easy and fun feedback tool
on February 2, 2025

I’ve been using the R10 for 2 years mainly in the garage and hitting into a net. The R10 is very easy to use and provides basic feedback. I’ll usually warm up on the range mode and then transition to playing a 18 hole course. The Home Tee Hero is well worth the subscription because it gives you access to virtually any course in the world. You don’t get a detailed course experience but there is layout and some elevation. Still, it helps me understand some aspects of the courses I’ve played and prepares me for courses I plan to play.

Great product- The Game-Changer for Budget Golfers
on January 29, 2025

The Garment Approach R10 is an absolute game-changer for golfers who want to improve without dropping thousands on high-end launch monitors or expensive club fittings. This little device brings affordable precision to the table, finally making advanced golf data accessible to everyone—not just the wealthy.
Performance & Accuracy
For the price, the R10 delivers shockingly good accuracy. It tracks club speed, ball speed, spin rate, launch angle, carry distance, and more. While it might not be quite as precise as a TrackMan, it's more than enough for serious game improvement. It syncs with apps for instant feedback, letting you fine-tune your swing without needing a coach or a country club membership.
Usability & Setup
Setup is super simple—just place it behind you, sync with your device, and start swinging. Whether you're using it indoors with a net or outdoors at the range, the portability makes it easy to practice anywhere.
Best Feature: Accessibility
The biggest win? Finally, regular golfers can afford real data-driven training. No more relying on feel or random tips from YouTube—this thing gives you numbers that actually help you get better. If you're serious about improving but don’t have a fortune to spend, the R10 is the best investment you can make.
Final Verdict
⭐ 9/10 – The best budget-friendly golf launch monitor on the market. If you’ve been stuck in the “good enough” phase of your game because you couldn’t afford high-tech tools, the Garment Approach R10 levels the playing field.

Very happy with this purchase. I do think the driver is the only club with inaccurate data. Irons are right on target

The Garmin R10 has been awesome to use during range sessions. I've been looking to get some real data about my swing path, club and ball speed, spin rates, etc. This has provided that to me at a great price. It is admittedly not going to be as accurate as a Trackman or Foresight laugh monitor, especially if you are using the cheap range balls, but it gets the average weekend golfer like me close enough to start putting a plan to improve together, based off of the data. Definitely worth the money for a beginner/intermediate golfer looking to improve their game.

Works well for price

I bought this almost a month ago. Out of the box it sets up pretty easy, but I have struggled to get it dialed in to more accurate tracking. The spin and shot shape is not right yet. I have it set to 7 ft behind hitting area, and about 10-12ft tee to impact screen. It works for practice for sure, but is not accurate yet. I have played some local indoor golf places to assess the differences in distance and spin, and I am finding this to be an issue. Hoping to get it more dialed in.

A friend of mine has the same launch monitor. We had been talking about it for a while before I bought mine. We talked about the instant feedback while swinging in the back yard. It's nice to have a tool like this when trying to learn a new swing.
