Approach R10

So far it’s ok. The only issue is the R10 will not pick up swing speeds with my speed sticks. It should pick up swing speeds regardless if I’m using a club or hitting a ball or using speed sticks. If it had that capability I would give it 5 stars.
Love it. I bring it to the range and track everything. I pour over the data, upload it to AI and have it give coaching suggestions. I can already tell a difference in my swing.
What a great device. Easily packs in my golf bag, can use on the range and when I play golf (haven't tried that yet). So much data!! Love the ability to pair with my phone for video capture. Biggest problem is truly just trying to better understand all the metrics that it provides. Excited to use at my next golf lesson to see what my instructor takes away from the data.
I bought this about 3 weeks ago and so far, I am very pleased with it. So far the wife and I have played a round of golf at the golf course we are members of and enjoyed ourselves. we have found that you cannot use a propane heater without interfering with the approach R10, so we had to turn the heater off and on during play.
Love this device, got it for my birthday and it has great analytics and insight into you seeing, distance, and many other metrics. Playing on the app is great and seemless and affordable
The garmin is a good budget launch monitor, my only issue was with my short range shots. I purchased RTC balls. They weren’t picking up well and they weren’t very accurate. I made sure to add adequate space between myself and the monitors and my impact screen and also made sure the device was level. It wasn’t picking up my chips at all and my drives/woods didn’t feel accurate. This is only good if you want to do practice with mid range shots, I’d recommend using it at a range.
