[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product many times now! Just seems my neighbors pets love our lawn better I guess!! But we just keep this product available and apply as needed! Hey... how about adding a dog repellent odor to this stuff!! LOL!!

I don't have a very big yard and I have 2 dogs and a pool. So needless to say my yard takes a beating. This work wonderful it cleared up the dog spots and helped with everything else. I used to be ashamed of my yard but not anymore... Love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I highly recommend this product! We have a German Shepherd and there were spots all over the yard! This product is a lawn saver! I applied and after 3 weeks the sprouts are starting to spurt up. I'm so happy our back lawn is going to look beautifil again this summer. THANKS Scotts!

Good for Intended Purpose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three dogs ranging in sizes from small to extra large. One can imagine how my backyard looks with dogs leaving their business behind and tearing up the grass. Needless to say, my poor yard needed some loving tlc. I came across Scotts® EZ Seed® Dog Spot Repair Sun and Shade. I have noticed a dramatic change in the landscape of said backyard.
Scotts® EZ Seed® Dog Spot Repair Sun and Shade was easy to use. The seed mixture is more like granules with a hard material mixed in. The mixture come in an easy to use sprinkle style container. Seeding the yard was easy as all I had to do was push open the lid where it says lift. This turns the lid into a hand held spreader and allows for ease when sprinkling the seed mixture onto the "affected" areas. I did notice towards the end, I was getting a lot of dust while shaking. After spreading the mixture, I did water the seeds like the instructions recommend on the label.
It took a few weeks before I noticed much of an improvement. The biggest difference I noticed is that my backyard is coming back to its normal and lush self. I do have a few patches where I have no grass, but I could easily apply another application with this product.

A great product for dog owners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 2 English Bulldogs (girls), so they do a number on our grass-especially during the winter months where I can't do anything to the lawn. When spring comes I'm prepared to see the worst. AND, I am right.
So, as soon as the snow left I got out with my SCOTTS EZ SEED DOG SPOT REPAIR (Sun & Shade).
Applied as instructed-very easy by the way, and with our warm weather and rain it came up and now my lawn where they go potty looks so much better! AND, I can keep on top of it now that we have better weather.

Take care of problem spots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We no longer have pets but many dog walkers pass by our home. Unfortunately may leave "reminders" of their visit leaving ugly yellow spots. This product provides an easy way to take care of the problem. It is easy to use, but remember to water the spot to ensure germination of the seed.

Bought this week in half ago yo clean up some of my dogs spots through out or yards. I am a professional landscaper and like I told my wife growing grass in the summer is a no no. It’s very hard to grow grass in the summer. But my wife insisted me to at least try so I saw the scotts ez seed pet stain remover and said guaranteed to grow so I gave it a shot and still no grass. Not even little sprouts. I did everything your supposed to do. Rake out the dead grass , even used a thratcher, then removed any rocks or junk from the spots with the garden rake then dressed a new top of top soil used a garden rake to softly to make little tiny rows kinda how you see farmers doing it when they grow corn and laid my mulch and seed that’s in the ez seed water it twice a day once before work and once at night and still noting. Spent a lot of money on this stuff just because they said it will guarantee to grow for nothing. I would stay away from this stuff. All there so called mulch stuff is peat moss. It does help the grass grow but not in this case
