This product only grew in a small area

I was disappointed it grew in a small area abut 3x3 ft.
Pros: nil
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that your seed did not grow as much as you had hoped. We are glad that you let us know as we use reviews such as yours to help us produce quality products. For Cool Season grasses, soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees (+12.7 Celsius) for grass seed to germinate. Watering also plays an important role in germination. Both excessive watering and not enough watering can slow down or even stop germination of the product. We recommend watering 1-2 times a day until germination is visible and then watering 1- 1 ½” per week as needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually used this product to repair areas in my lawn where our dog had ruined the grass. I have since constructed an area w/ stone for her to use to avoid further damage to the lawn but this product did well in replenishing the damaged areas.

Well when you use this as directed you will be amazed at how well this Scotts EZ Seed works ...You will very happy

Great for Dog Spots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, when we got 2 puppies during the pandemic, we never imagined those puppies would grow up to be huge and literally almost destroy our yard! Well, have no fear, when I came across this Scotts EZ seed dog spot repair sun & shade mix, I was hopeful it would do the trick. Well, thankfully it did. I now keep this on hand at all times, to keep my grass looking good all year around. Easy to use and works well, I would recommend.

WORKS VERY QUICKLY

There were so many brown spots and we have tried many products to regrow the grass in those areas but it either takes too long for it to grow back or we just haven’t had any luck. After using this product we were already seeing amazing results in a week. It has been almost a month now and the grass has grown back very thick and green. I am beyond surprised at how fast this product works. I really like how easy this product is to use. I strongly recommend you to read the directions and follow them so you can get the best results. This product has seriously given my yard life back. I will definitely be purchasing more of this. I highly recommend this product.

And always come across some dog poop and wonder what can we do to keep the grass in the original green color and I must say after finding some dog poop we sprinkled some dog spot repair on the patch and I grooved it In with the grass and it actually turned my grass back to its original color

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had moles in my yard the past year which has gotten my dog digging into the ground more trying to catch them. And if that wasn't bad enough they have created a path along the privacy fence where they have been running back and forth with the neighbors dog. I needed something that could help repair the damages and thankful to have tried Scotts EZSEED dog spot repair. It works in the sun and the shade to help correct damage and grow new grass. I just raked my lawn in the areas that needed it and applied the product so far it is working and grass is growing back betterbthan it was.
