[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this product as directed to an area that had been precisely targeted by my dog all winter long. Only 25% of the product germinated. No fertilizer was applied that would impede germination. It could be that the ph in that area is just out of wack from the habitual use.
Pros: Easy to Use, great packaging
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry that you experienced problems while using this seed. Unfortunately, we cannot be certain why your grass has died after growing well at first. Once they start growing, grass seedlings may succumb to environmental factors such as disease, insects, or extremes of temperature and moisture. This is not necessarily evidence of inferior grass seed, as even superior grass types are subject to natural stresses.
Two enemies of newly seeded lawns are herbicides and lawn diseases. While you have very little control over the outbreak of a lawn disease, please make sure that no weed control or weed prevention chemical has been used in the area, as those products will also prevent or inhibit germination. When used on newly germinated lawns, herbicides will kill off the new grass. If you see the grass ailing, we recommend that you contact a local nursery for help with diagnosis.
We want you to be confident in our products, this is why we offer a product guarantee. If you would like to further discuss this, please contact us here: http://tinyurl.com/mds8zo5

Such a lifesaver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a gamechanger for my newly purchased home. I could not tell what was just plain ole dead grass from the dog spots due to how much there was in the backyard! This easy to use treatment helped me solve these spots and grow my grass back to what it should’ve been. I was able to use it more often on the harder spots and it did cover those too. I loved that the container was easy to hold and apply to the ground. I highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product isn’t perfect, but it works a little better than any other patch treatment I’ve bought in the past, which is MANY of them. Easy to open, easy to apply, easy to maintain. It didn’t all produce grass, but we have a lot of birds who eat any seeds they find regardless of all the feeders I have out. I wish there was a way to keep the seeds down and not be eaten.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is easy to use, it takes 2-3 weeks to germinate. Needs to have more seed within the mix.
