Put is down right away but wasn't able to really see the difference in the grass since the weather has been crazy. Now that the snow is gone, my yard looks amazing. It didn't matter that the huge tree covers a portion of my yard because the Sun & Shade mix works wonder. Highly recommend!

Not growing yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We planted this seed 3 weeks ago according to the package directions. Then we had some very cold weather in the 30s and 40s at night and 40s and 50s during the day. So far, not much has sprouted, despite keeping it moist. Maybe trying to plant grass in April in Zone 5 was too risky. We will have to reseed in May or September.

Scott’s Turf Builder helped my lawn to a lush and attractive lawn. My grass is thicker as well as greener and I am looking forward to results on my garden patch. Compared to others I like the effective and fast results you get with Scott’s. I recommend to any and all lawn owners for a spruce up and overall more attractive appearance.

Ordered this and applied it to my well tilled and weeded lawn 04/18. By 04/26 after a couple of good rains and watering it extremely well my grass began to grow just as it says it would!! I am very satisfied w this product and I do recommend it.

Your rapid grass is not so rapid.

I planted your rapid grass seed 14 days ago in new black dirt. not a blade of grass yet. The cheap grass seed I bought is already growing. try disappointed in your product.

Great for grass!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had some bare and patchy spots through out our yard that we needed to repair. We tried the Scott’s rapid grass sun and shade mix and it seems to have done the trick. I like this product because we have different parts of of yard that get full sun and some that get no sun, so it was great that we could use this all over without worrying about how much sun it needed. The sprouts took a little bit to grow but once they did, they look great! Our yard is finally getting plush and green all over. The mix was easy to apply and I would buy it again.

I have a very shady area of lawn in my backyard under a large maple tree that is hard to get grass to grow there. I spreaded this by hand and gently raked it into the soil. I watered it a couple times a day to keep it moist. After a couple of weeks I was very surprised at how much grass has already growed. This product has very quick growth and I am very pleased with it.
