Seeded bare ground due to house addition worked very well first year and covered quickly. But second year one or two of the grasses die off subsequently I have dry grass sprouts throughout. Will this be a constant problem.

Sadly we bought a bag of this almost three weeks ago and we really don’t have much to show for it. Still mostly just dirt is what we can see... very unhappy especially for the price.

Choose Rapid Grass for a Plush Lawn

Rapid Grass is an awesome product. The Sun & Shade Mix helped patch my lawn from major damage that happened last fall. Within 25 days my lawn was plush and barefoot ready!

All around green lawn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts rapid grass builder is an excellent product to keep your lawn green all year around. This product will grow twice faster than seeds alone because it contains fertilizer and it was engineered to provide quick results in just weeks. It will also grow on shady areas and resilient to heavy foot traffic. Easy to read step by step instructions are provided at the back of this product. Watering twice daily for the first three weeks is essential to get a better result, then to regular watering regimen as recommended.

I started a lawn in an otherwise unused part of my property with this seed in late October in NY against conventional wisdom. By Thanksgiving I had a lawn. Stayed green all winter and it is the firs day of spring here and it is already getting greener. preparing to reseed my entire property.

Rolled lawn, racked throughly, air rated, cut lawn short and applied Rapid Grass generously. Set sprinklers for 7 minutes 3X a day 8:00, 12:00 and 4:00. Anxious to see if there is any improvement in lawn. Will repost in a couple of weeks if it’s successful. We have too many deer and they keep eating our lawn. ;-o
