Takes longer than advertised to get started

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Planted this seed 5-16-21, following the normal grass seed planting process as we always do; as seen in the photo below the grass growth is taking a bit longer than anticipated. Watering has been consistent with rainfall factored in. Obviously no fertilizer was used on this area or the surrounding area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received Product as a tester. I’m so glad that I chose item. So much rain in my area; I thought it would wash away. Within 7 days I noticed the new growth in bare areas of yard. Easy to use, no messy clean ups

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a huge patch of grass that the gophers got ahold of and needed to reseed it. This product so far did the job! I cleaned the area out. Took the dead grass and leveled the dirt. Fresh beautiful grass is slowly coming out!!

So easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great! Got this to fill in some spots in our yard where grass was not growing. Secret is to prepare the ground, then keep most to germinate the seeds. Once it starts taking off, it fills in nicely!

not really that "rapid"

Extremely Surprised!

However, I was completely surprised and happy with the results. I reset my entire front lawn and have no regrets using this product to bring it back to life.

Semi Successful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied Scott’s Turf Builder Rapid Grass Sun & Shade a month ago according to the directions. I raked out dead grass, loosened the soil, Swede and topped with topsoil. I watered 2x per day for the first 3 weeks, then every other day per the Home Owner’s Association rules. I didn’t see a difference between this product and the other products I tried. In fact I thought the EZ Seed product germinated faster. Rapid Grass germinated around the 3 week mark. It also didn’t fill in the bare spots very well leaving bare edges. I had better success with the application along the side of the house which gets more shade. I attribute my lack of success to the quality of the soil which has a heavy clay content.
