Working great so far!

I started out about 3 weeks ago, & I’m so excited with the progress. I would have given it a perfect 5 star, but there some spots on the side that hasn’t filled in as fast. However those areas has improved from when I started.

I had a pretty significant area to reseed this spring, so I thought I would try this new product from Scotts. Honestly, I was a little skeptical and wasn’t sure how it would grow with the cooler temps this Spring in the Midwest. But, wow was I wrong. I’m just over 3 weeks in and It is growing great. It has really taken off the past week, and I’ll definitely be mowing here soon. I would highly recommend this product to anyone taking on a seeding project.

I used the sun and shade coated grass seed for a new lawn and it has a lot of crab grass in it that now I have to deal with and get out.

amazing stuff

I have never done a lawn before-a basically googled instructions. my front yard was rocky dirt (a large tree came down last fall in a storm). I had 3 yd topsoil delivered & raked it out by hand. I thoroughly watered, seeded well, and applied straw. I watered once daily about 15-20min with lawn sprinkler. to be honest I was getting nervous. Well, on day 10-BAM! I noticed I had shoots everywhere and got really excited. I raked off about 1/2 the straw and reseeded some areas I missed. I can't believe how much it's grown! Everything I read said 4-5 weeks, so this was AMAZING.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used Scotts® Turf Builder Rapid Grass Sun & Shade Mix®. After trying regular grass seed mixtures with not the best of luck i thought i would try this one. I followed the instructions and water daily or as needed to keep soil surface moist for the first 2 weeks. To my surprise this grass germinates faster than any other grass seed I have ever used. I would definitely recommend this grass seed mixure to anyone that is looking for a rapid grass transformation to their lawn because this product is the Real deal ! I wish i could give it more than 5 stars because it deserves a very high ranking it stands out above other grass seed products on the market today and germinates very quickly

Just starting to sprout.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sprinkled Scott's Turf Builder on several dead spots on my lawn after removing all the dead vegetation as well as some healthy grass just to be on the safe side. We've had several inches of rain the past 2 1/2 weeks which has allowed the seed to germinate and sprout some new growth. It should work fine in filling in the bare spots once it is has spread and grown some more. Otherwise, I feel it will fill my needs of my yard and beauty when fully grown.
