[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was perfect to help fill in worn patches in my backyard. I already had a mix off different kinds of groundcover back there, so I really just wanted something green that would get rid of some of the dirt patches. Sun and shade mix was also great for my yard. It was easy to spread and is low maintenance compared to other grass seed I've seen before. It seems to be growing well, I'm about 2 weeks in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dormant seeded thin portions and bar spots of my lawn. I used Scotts grass seed last year to dormant seed and had great success in getting grass to grow quickly and to completely fill in bare spots. The seed with fertilizer makes the job quick easy. Scotts grass seed is well worth the price and I recommend it highly.

The grass really is greener with Scotts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long-time user of Scotts Lawn Products, I was not surprised that Scotts Turf Builder Rapid Grass Sun & Shade Mix exceeded my lawn expectations. I love that this seed can be utilized for initial seeding or seed-over annually for grass growth. Because we tend to get stubborn weeds and crabgrass, we tend to seed 2x a year to achieve the full, lush green lawn we desire. Using our Scotts spreader, we simply mow, lay seed and water daily with this product. Having utilized the same product, in a non-rapid formula, I can say that we started to see noticeable new growth in about 24 days (as compared to about 40). Having a combination of sun and shade in our yard with tree overgrowth seems to be no issue for this product (a pleasant surprise). The appearance of our grass has improved significantly using Scotts Turf Builder Rapid Grass Sun & Shade Mix. I always recommend Scotts for every lawn need.

Can’t wait to try

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well being from Buffalo, NY it is hard to leave a review in the middle of winter. What I can say is the directions for this product are well written out. I will definitely be overseeing my lawn after the winter. When using a spreader this bag will cover 2,800 Square feet, this bag will last me a while. I need to repair where the plow driver dug up the lawn. I will certainly come back and leave a proper review when I’m able to use the product.

Beautiful grass

I planted mine in with a mix of top soil and had results starting to show surprisingly soon there after… And it being a sun and shade mix was a bonus as well… This is definitely my new go to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to follow instructions and the seed does grow faster than a regular blend. I have a backyard with a lot of tree cover. I was able to grow grass in bare spots that I had not been able to grow grass in previous seasons. Get a bag to use on your lawn this upcoming spring. I will definitely purchase this product every season to improve bare spots from the winter.
