Grass applied as directions and came up in two weeks. On my third week and getting ready to cut because it’s so high!

Great seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect type of seed for our yard. we are always doing over-seeding and used this for our last round. We followed the application rate listed on the bag and used a broadcast spreader. We put some straw over it and it was great seeing the sprouts so quickly.

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Rapid Grass Repair Bundle and appreciate your feedback.
In the spring, it takes a lot of consistently warm temperatures to warm up the soil, especially in the northern states. Cool nighttime temperatures and fluctuating temperatures will slow germination. Cold weather will delay germination, but will not hurt the seed. If temperatures have been lower than necessary for seed germination, the seed is still good and will most likely germinate once temperatures warm up. For Cool Season grasses (Bluegrass/Rye/Fescue), soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees for grass seed to germinate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love using the turf builder line from Scotts. It always does what it says it will. This mix really helps your yard look green and plush. it contains both seed and fertilizer. The grass actually comes in much quicker when you use this mix.

I bought this seed and it was probably the worst investment I ever made. Watered every morning and evening some came up but most didn’t. Reseeded and still nothing. Looked at expiration date and it was supposedly still good!!! Never will by this one again and still have pretty much a full bag!!!

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Turf Builder Rapid Grass Sun & Shade and appreciate your feedback. For cool season grasses (Bluegrass/Rye/Fescues) soil temperatures must be at least 55℉ for grass seed to germinate. This means that the daytime temperatures must consistently be above 65℉. For warm season grasses (Bermudagrass/Centipede/Zoysia/Bahia) soil temperatures must be between 75℉ and 90℉. Cool or fluctuating nighttime temperatures will slow germination. Both excessive moisture and not enough moisture can inhibit germination. Germination times vary by seed type. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please reach out to us at 888-270-3714 if we can further assist.

I bought your 1-4 series and was very disappointed in the outcome. It did not kill the weeds and didn't even make the grass greener. I have pictures if interested.
