Plant while temps are warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Immediately planted this grass seed around my new above ground pool. Temps were mid to low 60's. Two days later temp dropped to mid 40's and hasnt changed. I have a few sprouts of grass but nothing to brag about. Im hoping for much better results in the spring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received late summer early Fall however did not actually use until very recently. As always, seems to be quality product with more seed than filler. I assume I will have grass where seed was applied in early and late fall.

Great grass seed for shade regions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] planted the seed late september after raking the area and laying down some top soil. The weather cooperated not requiring much watering with the showers.The areas now in november all filled nicely. Was able to get a few cuts now before leaving the grass for the winter her in new jersey

Grass did grow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Planted this were the sun barely shines. Applied new top soil, seed, straw, and watered when needed for one month. Grass did come up, but not as well as I thought it would. The color is a nice dark green.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would say I really liked this Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Dense Shade Mix because I had some spots in my yard that are usually in the shade and after putting this seed down and watering the grass seed it started to grow really nice and fill in the spots that needed new grass to grow. Also this grass seed is very easy to use and overall this grass seed is great because it grows like it is supposed to.

Good seed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used several brands and varieties on my backyard which is heavily shaded by large trees with mixed results. Most seed does germinate and grow, but several months later the shade always seems to win out over the grass and the grass thins out due to lack of sunshine. This product, while not perfect, is the best I’ve used on my backyard. After months of growing it has thinned out some but coverage and growth remains good. I’ll probably just spot reseed in the spring to fill in thinner areas.

Great for shaded area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect seed with no weeds for side of the house that is shaded. This has been the fastest growing seed I have used and seems to be heartier than other seed I have used in the past that has always thinned out by the end of the summer.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. I used this in a highly shaded area that’s been a problem in the past due to minimal sun. I used to see bare spots and the grass is now full. Bad thing is I have more area to mow, the good thing is my yard looks great.
