Cover will not stay down

The top cover or lid of this coffee pot will not stay down which allows steam to escape.
This is theory time getting this model. Prior I have used the step down model for 20 years.

I am disappointed in this because it makes such good coffee, as did the step down. But with all the steam escape, it makes about 2 cups less and isn’t as hot.

Lid doesn't completely close anymore

It was working fine for almost a month but now the lid doesn't work anymore. I'm not really happy using it like this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great coffee maker except the keep warm feature.i drink coffee all day long and when i go get a cup i like it hot but your warm feature turns the maker off and i get luke warm or cold coffee

Great Product for Great Price

We usually buy coffeemakers that cost 3 times what this maker costs and now that I have found this one I don't know why we used to spend so much. The coffee is hot and delicious. The maker looks cute on my counter too. We have had this for 2 months and so far it has just been great!
