B&D does not sell Replacement Carafe

Be warned, if you accidentally break your carafe, as is very easy to do with Glass, there is no where to get a spare one. Their parts supplier responded that they "no longer carry it" as if I was asking for a replacement part for something bought years ago. There is no point buying this item and risking it. Go with something stainless steel, or go with a brand that makes spare parts available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
