Not much need for the big oven-use for everything

I purchased this model as it was the most similar to a discontinued one that I previously had. I like the improved separate cook and toast controls. What this one lacks is a light. It also gets very hot on the outside so have to be careful especially if you have children or pets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I always knew Cuisinart was a terrific brand but I am so very pleased with my toaster/oven. It is well well insulated, not hot to touch on the outside. It is baked and toasts effectively and so easy to clean crumbs.

This is an almost exact duplicate of my last toaster oven. The biggest difference is the way the knobs work. This new one has very stiff knobs to turn while my old was very easily turned.
I do not have any limitations in my hands but someone who may suffer from arthritis might find it difficult to turn the stiff knobs. I still love this little work horse for my family of two.

This toaster oven was purchased for a recently acquired seasonal home and I will be comparing it to the one I have at my permanent home. I like that it’s pretty spacious and has a removable crumb tray. It seems to preheat reasonably quickly and bakes at a consistent temperature. I don't like that it doesn’t have an auto shut-off feature and is difficult to read the dial settings if not in a well-lighted area. If you’re toasting something and your item reaches your preferred darkness before the cycle is finished, this toaster oven doesn’t allow you to easily shut it off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
