It cleans easily, toasts nicely but there is only a timer on the toast function, not on the bake or broil function which strikes me as dangerous and annoying. You have to keep track of how long your food is in the oven. The dials are not easy to read, have to use a flashlight

Regarding the countertop convection toaster oven: excellent product. Ours stopped working just shy of the warranty period. Cuisinart sent a replacement in a timely fashion. We use this appliance many times a day and felt no need to look for a different brand. The only negative to the new one is there’s no interior light so we have to open the door to check doneness.

Great toaster oven, what happened to the timer?

We replaced our old and tired Cuisinart toaster oven with this one - it appeared to be the exact same appliance and we were very happy with the old one. There is one big difference, however: they took away the timer for baking. There are timed settings for toast (light / med / dark) but we always have to set it on dark to get things fully toasted. For baking, however, there's only an 'ON' setting - no timer, and no clicking sound to let you know it's still baking. You have to go to another device to set a timer. Not a huge deal, but I miss that feature. Other than that, this is a really useful appliance.
