I was so excited to receive this toaster oven so I could heat up food and cook small meals without having to use the microwave. What a disappointment! It reheats pasta and pizza fine. It literally burns anything I try to cook from scratch. I’d much rather use my conventional oven. Thankfully it was a gift or I’d be upset that I wasted my money on it. I wish it had a proper timer instead of “light, medium, dark”.

I bought this unit to replace a black and decker unit that worked fine as an oven but poorly as a toaster, this unit does both very well, toasting the bread quickly and almost as evenly as a conventional toaster. The one room for improvemnt is the on off knob, it is very difficult to turn towards the on position you feel like you are forcing it and it may break, the knob also works as a timer when turned to the right and if you remove the item before the timer ends you have to force it back to the off position and it gives a lot of resistance, this is the type ok knob that most use and I wonder why haven’t they found a more suitable and easier to operate replacement. I’m my previous experience with these type of toasters this is what usually fails.

I've wanted one for sometime, hoping it would be quicker and less heat than the oven. So far it has been. I fixed a 12" pizza in it on bottom shelf as directed. There were two lines that were burned where there are aluminum strips, so will try it on middle shelf next time. Have fixed frozen appetizers and turned out fine. Would have liked a timer on it.
