I purchased this mainly to make toast. My other toaster oven took forever. We are retired, but don’t want to spend. It’s of our morning waiting for toast to crisp. Very pleased with our purchase.

A traditional design and controls seemed like the way to go, however... Hard to read the toaster settings that wrap around the bottom of the knob. We ended up re-using the smaller broiler and catch pans from the old toaster over, as this item is awkward to pull in and out without burning yourself. It does heat well, toast fairly fast and cook like a "real" small oven.

I must be doing something very wrong because my first 2 simple attempts, warming a croissant, were failures. I used to warm a croissant in a regular oven at 300 degrees. In the toaster oven I used the same temperature. First I put the croissant on the top rack and the top was very burned. The next day I put the croissant on the bottom rack and the bottom was VERY burned. I am now very hesitant to put meat or fish in the oven for fear of a repeat. I will keep trying but am not a fan so far.

This thing is awesome! I have a bad shoulder so lifting pans from the regular oven is a challenge. The double convection feature cooks up great sweet potato fries too. The pizza stone works great also.
