I wanted this item due to the size as it fits on my counter. I was surprised that it lacked certain safety features that I thought would be there compared to my old toaster oven. The sides become hot when in use. When you open the door the product when set to toast does not turn off. You can’t see through the window on the door. It is powerful as I burnt my garlic bread not once but twice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this unit uses old style knob controls which make it impossible to know the exact temperature being set. Overall it's a reliable toaster-oven and if it comes at a good price then it's worth it.

The numbers and wordings on the control knobs are very hard to read. I have to use a magnifying glass to set the controls. The Warm setting continues to heat to a very high temperature. I was heating plates the first time and when I picked them up, I burned my hands.
