I like this little oven.. I’m glad I got it. If there could be improvements- The convection could be more powerful. The baking tray does not clean. The buttons could also be more sturdy. It says no aluminum foil & I use it all the time. (carefully & not walking away)
Function selection buttons and dial easy to understand, set and use. However I won't ever use the "bagel" setting as BOTH upper and lower heating elements heat up when "bagel" is selected....same as the "toast" setting. We prefer bagels and English muffins toasted only on the cut-side, and the bagel setting toasts both the top and bottom. Therefore, I find that I'm using the "broil" setting, (only upper element heats up) most of the time.....and need to watch closely whatever I'm toasting to avoid burning. So, no appreciable difference between the provided toast/bagel functions on this unit!

Love the oven baking part but have had problems with the toaster function. I’ve yet to use the broiler. The oven I bought had a faulty toaster dial & it barely toasted for the first few months after purchase then stopped toasting completely. Cuisinart replaced the whole oven unit & the new second one has a toaster that functions much better but the toasting isn’t perfect like a toaster. I like the oven for its compact size & even baking but I hope that the toaster function will work for the long term & not conk out like the previous one.
This appliance is ok. I have burned myself because of a very hot outer shell. Other toaster ovens have a protective outer shell to avoid this. Be careful with this oven.
I really like this oven. Only two things negative and that is it could use a light inside and the directions say not to use foil in it, as it could cause it to overheat.
That it in a fairly small area. Good for rv’s and apartments. I wish I had more info on how to cook more every day food. Like baked potatoes, meatloaf, and meals that to have to watch every minute to see if it getting cooked. What is the time difference between confection and reg baking for these things. I also make things in a Bundt pan but know how long to cook and on which settings.
