Beware if you have dogs!

I put this in my backyard because I have dogs. Unfortunately they have decided that it’s good enough to eat. Their poop is runny and smells vile. I have generously watered it but the granules will not dissolve. I haven’t seen any difference in my yard’s appearance.

Not safe for pets

My dog won't stop eating the granules. Would not recommend this product. Wish I could give it zero stars

Disgusting Product

If you do a bit of Google searching (I wish I had before using this product) you will find many many users have the same experience.
The product stinks. Literally and figuratively.
I applied it yesterday and later int eh day it rained. The smell created is nauseating. And today came the flies - too many to count.
Many dog owners claim their pets cannot stop eating this stuff.
We have 2 cats and we spent a lot of time and money turning our backyard into a "kitty park". Before yesterday they would spend hours and hours outside - often times we had to round them up at bedtime. Ever since this went down they refuse to even go out back.
A disgusting product that deserves 0 stars, if possible.
Cons: Bad Odor, files - pet problems
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dogs won't go on lawn

I applied this product a few days ago. On the first day I didnt let my dogs play out there, just to be safe. It didn't matter though because once they went out they refused to go on it anyway! They seemed curious about the smell, but I couldn't even push them onto the grass and had to take them to the front where it hadn't been applied yet. It rained the first two nights and they finally went out into the yard for the first time. Then last night one of my dogs was sick all night with vomiting and diarrhea. I don't even know if this product works yet, but I know I'm not using it again.
Cons: dog got sick
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dog got diarrhea

I put this on my lawn three days ago. It rained really hard all day and I thought it had sucked in. There were a few areas where I spilled a little and my dog would not quit eating it. She was up all night with diarrhea. I do not recommend this product for dogs

This product made my dog eat the lawn

Purchased and applied as directed. Had a strong smell to it almost like something that was dead and rotten. Never had a problem with my dog using yard for he bathroom. After applying Scotts Natural Lawn Food, she no longer wants to do her business there, but wants to eat the grass. Just returned from vet had her checked, he told me not to use anything that would make my dog a grazer. This stuff mite work, but I would rather buy dog food, more healthy for my little girl.
Cons: Bad Odor, makes dog eat grass, have to walk on front lawn where i didn't use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really great product

I used this seed in hard places to grow grass and it work great. I love Scotts.
Pros: Value, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective, grows in hard areas where other don't.
Cons: none.
I would recommend this to a friend!
